Will they fit over my glasses?

Yes, over small or narrow reading or prescription frames. The open design leaves room underneath, so you keep your own lenses on and add the prism view on top. If your everyday frames are wide, slip a slim pair of readers underneath instead, or wear the Head-Up glasses on their own.

How quickly will I get used to them?

Fast. Most crocheters are settled in after the first row or two and feel completely at home within one evening. After that, looking down for hours feels like the old way of doing it.

What will I see through them?

Your lap, sharp and clear: your hook, your hands and the row you're working on. The view is aimed straight down on purpose, so your stitches stay in focus while your head stays level. To glance at the TV or chat to someone, just look over the top of the frame.

Are they comfortable for long sessions?

Yes. At 42 g they're lighter than most sunglasses, the soft nose pads spread the weight, and there's nothing to strap or tighten. Sit back, drop your shoulders and let the glasses do the looking down.

What's in each offer?

Every option includes The Cosy Crochet Collection, our 33-page digital pattern book with ten original projects (emailed after payment). One pair is the glasses with the book, $4.99 US shipping. The Comfort Set adds a pair of soft fingerless compression gloves in your size. The Light Set adds the rechargeable hands-free neck light. The Complete Comfort Set has the glasses, the gloves and the neck light. Every set ships free.

Which glove size should I choose?

Glove length × palm width: S 16 × 7.6 cm, M 17 × 8.1 cm, L 17.8 × 8.8 cm. Measure across your palm just below the knuckles. Between sizes? Choose the larger one. The gloves are fingerless, so your fingertips stay free for the hook and yarn.

When will my order arrive?

US orders usually arrive in 5 to 11 business days after dispatch, tracked all the way to your door. Your pattern book lands in your inbox the moment payment goes through, so you can start planning your next project tonight. Sets may arrive in more than one package.

Can I try them at home first?

Yes. You get 30 days at home with them. If you'd rather send them back, email support@reveneco.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll arrange a return or refund. The pattern book is yours to keep.

Woman crocheting wearing Head-Up Crochet Glasses

For the middle of every session

Your neck, off duty.

Look at anyone crocheting and you'll see the same shape: chin down, shoulders curled, for an hour or three. You don't feel it while you're in it. You feel it when you stand up.

Put these on, sit back, and look straight ahead. The prism in each lens drops the view ninety degrees to your lap, so your eyes do the looking down and your neck doesn't have to. Same project, same chair, a whole different way to finish the evening.

A closer look

Simple on purpose.

A glass prism, a light frame and nothing to charge, strap or adjust.

Real optical glass, not plastic.

Each lens is a glass prism that bends light by ninety degrees. Look ahead and you see what's directly below your eyes: your hook, your hands, your row. Glass keeps the view sharp for years and shrugs off the scratches that cloud cheaper acrylic.

42 grams, frosted, folding.

Matte frosted ABS with soft nose pads and folding arms, 42 g on the scale. The open frame leaves room for small prescription or reading glasses underneath, so you keep your own lenses on and add the prism on top. Fold them flat and they live in your project bag.

At home within one evening.

Your eyes expect to look down at your hands, so the first rows feel new. Start with a project you know, sit back in the chair, and let the glasses do the looking down. By the end of the session it feels natural, and the next day you'll reach for them without thinking.

Made to fit most adults.

One size with folding arms, and at 42 g there's almost no weight on your nose. The open frame sits over small or narrow glasses. Designed for sitting back with your project, wherever that is: sofa, armchair, kitchen table or bed. Nothing to charge, strap or adjust.

Before you choose

Everything crocheters ask us.

Who are these for?

Crocheters and knitters who love a long session and want to finish it feeling as good as they started. Anyone who wants to sit up straight and still see every stitch. If you work in your lap for an hour or more at a time, these were made for you.

How do they work?

Each lens is an optical glass prism. Light from your lap enters the bottom of the prism and leaves it towards your eye, so when you look straight ahead you see what's directly below. No electronics, no mirrors to adjust, nothing to charge. Put them on and crochet.

Do they fit over prescription glasses?

Yes, over small or narrow frames. That's exactly what the open design is for. As a guide, frames under about 135 mm across sit comfortably underneath. If your everyday pair is wider, many customers keep a slim pair of readers for crochet or wear the Head-Up glasses on their own.

What will I see through them?

Your work, sharp and close: the hook, your hands and the row in progress. The prism view is aimed straight down at your lap so your stitches stay in focus while your head stays level. To glance at the TV or across the room, look over the top of the frame.

How long do they take to get used to?

About one evening for most people, and often less. The first few rows feel new because your eyes look ahead while your hands stay in your lap. By the end of the first session it feels natural, and by the second you'll reach for them without thinking.

What's in the box?

One pair of Head-Up Crochet Glasses with folding arms. One size. Nothing to assemble. Every order also gets The Cosy Crochet Collection pattern book by email (PDF). The Comfort Set adds a pair of fingerless compression gloves in your size. The Light Set adds the rechargeable hands-free neck light. The Complete Comfort Set has the glasses, the gloves and the light. Sets may arrive in more than one package.

How do they help my neck?

By taking the long look-down out of crocheting. Your head stays level and your eyes do the work through the prisms, so the hunch that usually builds over a session never gets started. Simple optics, so it works from the very first row.

How does US shipping work?

A single pair ships for $4.99 and every set ships free. US orders usually arrive in 5 to 11 business days after dispatch, with tracking emailed the moment it's on its way. Sets with the neck light ship to street addresses.

Can I return them?

Yes. Try them at home for 30 days. If you'd rather send them back, email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll arrange a return or refund. See our Returns & Refunds page for the full terms.

How do I contact you?
